According to Wikipedia:

Based on the definition above, the focus of lean startup approach is simple: You, as a startup, can launch your products and services faster with less initial launch funding.

Lean startup is the way for startups – especially tech startups – that are cash-strapped (well, many of not most of us startups ARE cash-strapped) but have big ideas that can be turned into potential game-changer.
